The Narcissist LOVES To Spy On You

This may be difficult to comprehend, but yes, narcissists actually enjoy spying on their targets. They take pleasure in secretly collecting information about your activities, movements, and plans because they view you as their enemy and competitor. When they spy on you, it distracts them from their miserable lives and gives them a sense of excitement, as though they are secret agents or part of the FBI—like they’re James Bond or something.

This is often why they intentionally discarded you or became so toxic that you had no choice but to cut them off. They don’t find enjoyment in interacting with you directly. Instead, they prefer to watch and observe from a distance because it gives them a sense of power and control over their target.

This behaviour can be very confusing. They made you feel like you were nothing, like you were worthless, and then you saw them ride off into the sunset with their new supply. But now, they’re watching you. It excites them to spy on you from behind their phone or computer screen. This is why you need to be very careful if they still have access to your social media accounts—they are absolute creeps.

Even though they may act as if they’re preoccupied with their new supply, they’re actually focused on you. They’re watching to see if you’re still suffering or if you’ve managed to heal and move on. They’re very concerned about your emotional state and even your financial situation. This is why you need to be cautious about what you post online. Certain posts may aggravate them, set them off, or make them dislike and oppose you. Even though they may have discarded you, on some level, they understand that it’s their loss. They know they’ve lost something of value, which is why they’re still watching you—even though everything they see makes them sick and fuels their obsession.

You may even catch them waiting around your house or workplace, or they may randomly appear somewhere they know you’ll be. They just can’t control themselves around you. This is why they often do and say strange, bizarre, or unusual things. They’re odd and crazy, but they’re also very curious about you. They’re eager to know and learn more about you. You arouse their speculation, interest, and attention, even though you may feel no interest towards them.

They may even creep around your family or friends to gather information about you. Naturally, you might assume they want to be in contact with you, but you’d be mistaken. Spying on you and stalking you actually has a greater impact on them. It gives them a rush, a surge of energy and excitement, which they don’t get from interacting with you directly. They only experience these feelings when they’re causing drama, mischief, or gossiping about you behind your back.

This behaviour stems from their childhood trauma. They can only experience energy and excitement from having power over you, rather than treating you respectfully and as an equal. In essence, they get a euphoric rush from driving you away rather than connecting with you on a deep emotional level—something narcissists are incapable of because they can’t be vulnerable.

Even though they may flaunt their new supply as if they’re having a great time, the reality is they get more of a rush from spying on you. The new supply is typically just as creepy and strange as the narcissist, so they’re probably spying on you as well. They bond over everything they see about you. Essentially, you are the catalyst of their relationship. Your words, enthusiasm, and energy make them more friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic. You’re the glue holding it all together, the foundation on which they tremble. Without you, their relationship wouldn’t have been possible.

Yet, they’re not aligned with you. They view you as their enemy or opponent. They despise you, but at the same time, they’re spying on you because you set the stage. You make it possible. You’re like the director of their movie—you have the power. The best they can get now is watching you from a distance. That’s how they occupy their time and fill their thoughts because you’ve had a huge impact on their lives, even if they never made you aware of it.

Look at their actions. Look at how they’re spying and stalking you. It reveals that you’ve unknowingly tipped them over the edge. You’ve made them lose control to the point where they’re now suffering an emotional breakdown and coming after you. What makes this even crazier is that you never intended to harm them. You’re a genuine, loving, kind person, which only highlights how weak they really are.

When dealing with a narcissist, the person who has the most power in loving them also has the most power to harm them. All you have to do is take away whatever you were providing, and that’s enough to make them go insane. You were unknowingly the backbone of their lives—the glue. Without you, of course, they’re going to fall apart. Of course, they’re going to act crazy. They can’t live without you. They’ve never found anyone as wonderful as you before, and they never will again.

This is why they don’t just stalk you for a few months after you’re gone—they obsess over you for years, sometimes for the rest of their lives. They just can’t find anyone else like you. You’re unmatched. You’re irreplaceable. But the entire time, they may not say anything or make any contact with you. To them, it’s a game, a strategy to counter your moves. They can’t be vulnerable. They can’t say what’s on their mind, speak the truth, or even apologise. Instead, they monitor you, conducting a detailed analysis of everything you do.

Even something as simple as posting a picture of your meal on Instagram can aggravate them. It drives them insane because they hate and envy you. They can’t participate or get the same fulfilment as you do. They thrive in toxic environments and can’t enjoy peace and happiness like you. They envy and despise you, but at the same time, it fills a void for them. It brings them intense excitement because that’s what they like—drama, mischief, and gossip.

As messed up as it sounds, this is what they do. They may be spying on you right now, but you wouldn’t know because they’re covert. They hide in their secret, private spaces where they feel safe and secure, watching you on their phone or computer. They do this for years. Some victims have even been hoovered decades after the discard. It’s not that they suddenly decided to make contact—they were watching all that time. They may have noticed a shift in the victim’s energy or behaviour, which triggered the hoover because they saw an opening to gain access to their lives.

Understand that you provide more supply at a distance than the person they’re currently with or anything else in their lives. This is why victims often become targets of smear campaigns and gang-stalking. What you’re doing is far more interesting and exciting than anything they’ve got going on. You’re centred, grounded, and focused on yourself, which is incredibly attractive. It demonstrates confidence and self-belief, but it also triggers their jealousy because they feel left out.

They try to divert your attention and distract you because they get more of a feeling from being associated with you, even if it’s through a computer or hearing about you from others. You’re the most potent source of supply for these emotional vampires because you’re self-aware and spend most of your time by yourself. This leaves a lasting impact on their lives. Before they met you, they never knew people like you existed. You built them up and made them feel good about themselves until they became arrogant and thought they could do better.

Although it may look like they’re riding off into the sunset with their new supply, they’re actually riding into the depths of hell. They’ll never get the same feeling they had with you—that rush of excitement and adrenaline. This is why, even without communication, they’ll continue spying on you. It makes them feel more complete than being in a relationship with their new supply. It’s more potent than anything they get from their enablers and flying monkeys. They’ll desperately keep watching you.
