5 Things That Trigger A Narcissist's Rage

Narcissists always have to be in control. And if they're not in control, they can become very angry. And they won't have any consideration for you. They're arrogant and entitled. They believe that they are deserving of whatever they want. And they will manipulate people to get it. But if they don't get what they want, they will rage. Because they're trying to regain their control. There are certain things that destabilise the narcissist. Things that make them lose control. Which then causes them to rage.

1. When you point out what they're doing If you just point out what the narcissist is doing, they will lose their minds. They want to be able to do what they do, without you openly talking about it. But when you bring it to their attention, it triggers their rage. Because they're being forced to self reflect. If they say something hurtful to you and you ask them what their was intention behind saying those things, they won't know how to respond. And when they don't know how to respond, they just get mad. Because they know that they've lost control. If you tell them they're controlling, it will trigger their rage. Because they know that what you're saying is true. They hate the truth. Because they know that the truth is against them. It doesn't align with their false narrative. So they oppose the truth. Because it's a threat to their control. Which is why it triggers their rage. 2. Your freedom Your freedom triggers the narcissist's rage. Your freedom to say what you want to say. To have your own opinions and beliefs. And make your own choices and decisions. Which is why they don't want to hear it. They don't want to hear about what you think. They don't want to hear about what you believe. Which is very unfair. But everything has to be one-sided with them because they're very insecure. They fear losing control. They wouldn't know what to do without it. 3. When you display your intelligence When you display your intelligence to the narcissist, it will trigger their rage. Because they want to have authority over you. They see you as their subordinate. They don't want you to have your own ideas and opinions. They don't want you to judge or criticise anything that they're doing. They want you to just accept it and follow their agenda without question. So when you display your intelligence, it will trigger their rage. And they will give you every reason why you're wrong and stupid.

They will try to put you in your place. Because they always have to be right. They have to be in the position of authority. And your display of intelligence is a threat to their control. So they have to discredit you. 4. When you talk about their mistakes The narcissist always wants to talk about things that you've done wrong. They want to paint you in a bad light. They want to blame you for everything. But when you bring up their mistakes, it will trigger their rage. They will become defensive. Because they have to maintain their image of being the good person. The person who never does anything wrong. So when you talk about their mistakes, they will rage. They will attack you. They will shut you down. Because in their minds, you're not allowed to confront them. You're not allowed to talk about their mistakes. Because they see it as though they have authority over you. As though you have to answer to them. But they don't have to answer to you. 5. When you've had enough

Eventually, you just get fed up. You stop hiding how you really feel about them. You realise there's nothing you can do to solve the problem. And they start to see that you're becoming irritated and annoyed. Which will trigger their rage. Because they see it as though you're deciding when the argument is over. Or when the relationship ends. But they want to be the one who decides those things. So when you've had enough and you don't want to do it anymore.

They will start making up reasons why they should leave you. Because they see it as a game. And it's a game that they have to win. They have to be better than you.
