3 Words The Narcissist Will NEVER Say

When you are dealing with a narcissist, they want to project everything onto you. They want to hold you to blame for everything that went wrong, even when you had no connection to their past experiences. Narcissists want to relieve themselves of their problems and worries by passing them on to you because they lack a conscience. They don't have an inner voice guiding them to recognize the wrongness of their behaviour. They feel no urge to do right because they operate on a lower level of consciousness. They're like zombies, not fully awake, but they do understand the difference between right and wrong. They just see themselves as exceptions because they believe they have an excuse.

Narcissists have a strong sense of entitlement. They believe they should be able to do whatever they want and have whatever they want because, in their minds, they are superior, special, and unique. They think life has been unfair to them, so the world owes them. However, they have never actually done anything to earn the privileges or special treatment they think they deserve. They are users and takers, always believing they are entitled to everything because they think they are powerful, intelligent, attractive, or wealthy, or because they have the right connections. This sense of entitlement is completely delusional and has no basis in reality.

There are three words that a narcissist will never say, no matter their age, gender, or where they are from. Most narcissists will never say, "I was wrong." They will never take the steps to correct their faults and mistakes because doing so would mean reintegrating themselves back into reality. Instead, they constantly try to pull other people into their world of make-believe. A very small percentage of narcissists might admit they were wrong and take the necessary steps to correct it, but this is very rare. It requires a huge amount of dedication, strength, and possibly a belief in a higher power, along with a lifetime of therapy, as there is no cure for this disorder.

The narcissist in your life is never going to tell you that they were wrong, and they are never going to take the steps to correct it. They will continue to lie to you and violate you. They cannot reintegrate themselves into reality; you have to enter their world to reach them. You have to understand all their alternate meanings and interpretations just to have a conversation with them. Even then, they won't understand you because they have excuses and justifications for everything they do and everything that goes wrong. In their minds, they are always the victim.

Narcissists may understand that stealing is wrong, but in their minds, it's okay for them to steal because something happened to them. They believe they are allowed to cheat because they are not happy. It always comes back to their childhood traumas or something that was done to them in their past. They believe they can do whatever they want and expect you to go along with it. If you don't, then you're wrong, and they have to punish you. They will blame you for everything that goes wrong and play the victim.

Narcissists live in an alternate reality where they are always the victim. They may have been abusing you for years, cheating on you, lying to you, and stealing from you until you finally got fed up and decided to walk away. They may feel rejected or abandoned by you, but they twist it in their minds so that it doesn't seem so bad. They can't deal with their narcissistic injury; it's too painful for them. They don't want to believe that you got fed up with them and decided to leave them alone. So, they filter it out and decide that something was wrong with you. You were no good for them, and they were just in the process of getting rid of you. This is why they go straight to the smear campaign, talking about you behind your back and lying about you. They make up stories so that other people believe them and support their false reality.

Narcissists have long explanations that are pointless and deliberately evasive. They create a commotion with theatrical performances and complicated stories to mislead you and escape or avoid the truth. They do this not just for you, but for themselves, to keep themselves imprisoned in their world of make-believe. They need to think they are good people, so they deny reality to feel more comfortable. No one wants to feel shame, humiliation, or rejection, especially those with a cluster B disorder. They will do everything in their power to run away from or deny these feelings.

When you confront a narcissist or threaten to expose them, it causes a narcissistic injury, bringing them back to reality and showing them who they really are. If you lock them away in a room for a week to think about their actions, they would probably end up taking themselves out or going insane because they don't even like themselves. They entertain this alternate reality to feel comfortable around you because otherwise, they would experience so much shame it would tear them apart. This is why they start smear campaigns, to support their false reality and make it more believable for themselves.

Narcissists are constantly running from themselves, living in denial, and not truly living. They are always miserable because they refuse to accept the truth or think about unpleasant facts. They choose to live in a fake world to avoid dealing with who they actually are. Seeing a reflection of themselves or acknowledging that they have destroyed people's lives would drive them insane. They know they are the lowest of the low, which is why they are so controlling and insecure. They create a fantasy world full of justifications and excuses, gaslighting you and shifting the blame onto you because they know exactly who they are and what they do. They don't want to see the truth, and they know no one in their right mind wants to be around someone who destroys people's lives and feels no remorse.

Narcissists can never be alone. They are always surrounded by enablers and supporters who blindly uphold their false narrative. The last thing they want is to be left alone with their own thoughts and the awareness of the mess they have created. If left alone, they might lose their minds or even take their own lives because beneath the surface of their false reality is a very weak, fragile person who knows they are a disservice to mankind. This is why they lie, manipulate, and gaslight, using every trick in the book to prevent people from realizing the truth.
