Hello, I am an adult child and former intimate partner of very narcissistic individuals. I have been in no contact from my narcissistic parent for 8 years and in no contact from my former narcissistic partner for the last 4 years. I have dealt with post no contact stalking and smearing that was very active up to the pandemic. I have made changes in my lifestyle to reduce my exposure to this extension of abuse with some success - though never completely eradicated. I continue in my recovery process and my self development everyday despite whatever obstacles are presented or any limiting opinions of others. I know with perseverance that one day I will reach a better place in my life that the narcissists simply can't attack successfully anymore. I look forward to these days to come, which keeps me moving forward. I hope I can help others to recover from similar experiences and that we can be supportive of each other in moving on to something better.
